From the outset, you understood the style and feel that we were looking for and the venue you recommended to us was the ideal backdrop for the occasion. Our guests were delighted and this was reflected in the wonderful photographs we saw on our return.

We stumbled across WED on the internet and from our first correspondence with Gemma, we were instantly impressed. Gemma had lots of ideas and seemed genuinely interested in helping us arrange our perfect wedding, she was knowledgeable, approachable and made us feel very secure in the process. Deciding to plan a wedding abroad can be daunting, but Gemma was always on hand reassuring us and discussing all the options in thorough detail and at no point did we feel out of control or that we were taking a big risk in trusting someone we had never met to help coordinate our big day!
After discussing our thoughts with Gemma she made several venue and style suggestions, both my husband and I fell in love with the idea of getting married in a secret garden in the heart of Venice. This ticked all our boxes and more and without Gemma and WED's local knowledge we would never have found our venue or been able to organise our day from the UK.
As a bride, I had several things that I knew I wanted and Gemma managed to organise everything just as I had in my head, from flowers to cocktails!
WED has an excellent network of suppliers and managed to find us a sensational photographer and very gifted make up artist and hair stylist. Our photographer instantly put us at ease, he is a very experienced and talented photographer and we now have the most amazing photos of our day, far, far more special and original than we had ever hoped for, all our married friends are very jealous of them! Our make up artist and stylist again knew exactly what to do and had us all looking a million dollars and feeling at our absolute best. They both helped make our day extra special.
I cannot recommend highly enough the service from WED, attention to detail and genuine interest that was provided, our day was everything we had hoped for and more!

But from your very first email to me I felt extremely comfortable leaving it all in your hands and felt that you were really listening to what we wanted and were prepared to be as flexible as we needed.
We just wanted a very simple ceremony, in a gondola, with a good photographer, followed up by a lovely meal in St Mark's Square. And that is exactly what we got. Even the sun came out - I don't know how you did that! But we felt incredibly special and it was a very romantic occasion - we really couldn't have asked for, or got, any more.
We will always remember our silver wedding in Venice and cannot thank you enough for organising it all so painlessly and wonderfully. Please also thank the photographer for all the wonderful photos - I felt like a film star walking through St Mark's Square having my photo taken!

with the flowers decorating it and the amazing decorative ceiling, there was nothing we would have changed. We had complete trust and felt reassured by the way that last minute changes required by the dramatic weather on the day were dealt with. The highlight of our wedding day was was arranged at the last minute, involving a procession of gondolas on the grand canal with our relatives and friends. At first we were hesitant to trust the internet for planning our wedding. As you know, we investigated several options before settling on WED. I have to say that you were the most consistent and patient informer, and that is why we chose you. I understand there is much competition for wedding planners and you are most likely earning a commission on the services provided. However, until there is a bond of trust established, it is difficult to send your hard-earned dollars out of the country to someone whom you’ve never met. Thank you for taking the time to answer all of our questions and put our fears to rest. You will be happy to know our wedding in the palace garden exceeded all of our expectations. Also, we’d like to thank you for the lovely candelabra. It was certainly a pleasant surprise, and we will cherish it always. e have enjoyed telling everyone that we were married in the garden where the movie, “Casanova” was filmed. We get excited every time we see the twisted tree pop into view, knowing that we stood in that very spot! I hope that you get a chance to see the film as it is very funny! The photographer took lovely photos; everyone says we look like movie stars! It’s funny.... because I sort of FELT like one at the time! Everything was just so perfect it felt like a fairy tale.
